I'm just getting ready to leave the house to go on my big road trip for work. It involves a ton of driving and I'll be away for a week. I'm attending a camp for teenagers with physical disabilities. One of the Speech Pathologists from work is joining me on the car ride. We plan on stopping at lunch time for Mexican and then having Italian for supper, when we reach our final destination of Corner Brook. Sounds like a good day filled with good food!
We began the process to adopt a child from the Philippines in January 2007 and received ICAB approval in May 2008. On October 29, 2010 we were matched with our son Rafael and he joined our family on February 20, 2011!! Now we are home and are enjoying the adventures of parenting!!

Baby clothes and good food
After reading Emilie's blog, I was reminded of all the clothing I was given by a lady at work early last summer. She only gave me girls clothing because at the point we were still planning on adopting from China. There was a ton of beautiful clothes, all 12 -18 months in size. I'm pretty sure that I will receive a referral for a boy as I only have girls clothes and even if I was referred a girl, the clothing may be too small. It doesn't really matter either way as I have lots of friends having babies, who could avail of the clothing and if not there's goodwill. For now, it's all packed away in our closet. I am just so excited for when it's our turn to receive a referral because I can't wait to start shopping! Baby clothes is just so cute!

That little pink dress is too cute! With all of the girl referrals lately, you never know! We're going to bring both 12 and 18 month clothes for Eze. I think he's going to be teeny for his age. Drive safe this week!!
cute outfits! hold on to them, you never know. plus if it's anything like our daughter's case, who swims in clothes that are labeled for her age range, your little girl (assuming a baby girl here) may be small compared to what the clothing sizes say here. ~emilie
That little dress is so sweet.
Hope you have a great trip.
Aww, I love the cute pink dress too! I'm not a fan of shopping, but when it comes to stuff for babies, I can spend the whole day at baby shops! I hope you're having fun wherever you're at ;). Drive safe!
