Another month has passed and we are now at 22 months since ICAB approval. Hopefully this is the month that we will be matched. Our update is almost complete and we are just waiting on the completion of our criminal checks. I'm not sure if we could be matched while ICAB is waiting to receive our update, but my fingers are crossed that they may send us a referral anyways.
We just bought a new camera last week. This camera is pretty complicated and I have lots to learn but I love taking pictures so I'll get lots of practice. Yesterday Brian and I took Sid on a three hour hike and we took 95 pictures while we were gone. They turned out great and I'll try to post some when I figure out how to do so.

Rachel, our camera is a digital SLR and I am very pleased with the photos so far. I can use it in automatic mode but I'm lost once I put it into manual. We also bought the zoom lens because it was cheaper to buy it the same time as the camera instead of buying it later.
It has to be any day now. Have you heard of any referrals lately? I keep checking in on you guys every couple of days. YOur new camera sounds great. Can't wait to see some of your pictures.
Hi Jenny, there was one new referral in the Yahoo group last week. The family were approved June 2008 (one month after us) and also do not have Filipino heritage which makes me hope that our turn is not too far off but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
