Well another month has passed and we are now 7 months since ICAB approval. I am hoping to hear something in a year from now but you never know when your time will come. Rachel, a friend who I met on a Philippines adoption Yahoo group, travelled to the Philippines over the weekend to pick up her son. It has been very exciting following her journey and I can't wait to hear all about her trip when she returns.
Not much else is new around here. I'm finished all of my Christmas decorating and I have all the gifts wrapped. Last week was full of Christmas parties and tomorrow I have a Christmas lunch at my work and then a Christmas dinner at Brian's work. I'll pretty much be spending my whole day eating! Not that I'm complaining. My running friends and I had a big cookie exchange last weekend. I received 4.5 dozen cookies and guess what?? I've eaten them all already (except for the 4 or 5 that Brian ate). I am going have to do some serious cutting back after Christmas or else I'm going to have to buy all new clothes!

Dennis rarely gets to eat any kind of sweets in the house because I always get to them first. LOL. Congrats on another month. I hope you hear something way before a year from now!
John is usually the one who eats all the sweet in our house. I can take it or leave it, his sisters hate me for that. LOL.
Congrats on 6 months. Time flies doesn't it.
I was just pulling some Christmas treats out of the freezer. I had put them in there hoping that would help me not eat them all. It wasn't successful as I think I might be the only one who knows that they are in there...therefore the only one eating them. Agh!
I can't wait to hear all about the Ribars trip. It sounds like they had quite the experience. I am sure they will be a great reference for us in the future on what to do and what NOT to do. :)
