28 months

It was 28 months ago today that we recieved ICAB approval. Where does the time go! I know of another family or two who were matched in their 28th month. I'm not sure how long the longest wait ever for a referral was but I'm sure that we will most likely break that record. Now that is one record no one wants to break!

Renee,
I've been following your blog for a long time, and I really feel for you as you hit this point in your wait. Even though I've never commented on your blog before, I think of you often, hoping that this will be the week that you hear something - you always post with such cheerfulness. I'm praying for you that when you go on your cruise you'll have something wonderful to celebrate!

Jennifer,
Thanks alot for your thoughts and I hope that your wait is not nearly as long as ours. Do you have a blog? If so, I'd love to check it out. Thanks again!

I do - I started it about a month ago, and I'd love it if you came to visit. It's http://faithacrosstheocean.blogspot.com/

I would be so curious to know how long the longest wait has been. Once you finally get over there and get to meet with ICAB you should ask! I'm hoping and praying that 28 months is your magic month.

Renee,
I know you have so many of us checking your blog everytime we see a new post in hopes of hearing referral news. We are all in your corner rooting for you guys. It has to be soon, very soon. I just can't hardly understand why super long wait. Yes, please ask ICAB when the time comes why???

I feel for you, too. Waiting for anything is no fun especially for something like this that you want so much, something that you want so much with your entire heart, soul, and mind. I will continue to pray for you!!! And, I will anticipate the moment I will see great news on your blog to be soon!!!

We're just in the begining stages of adopting from the Philippines (homestudy paperwork). I seriously hope you guys get matched soon and hope that it doesn't take as long for us. I have my fingers crossed for you!
