23 months and counting!
Another month down and how many to go?? I can't believe that we have almost reached the two year mark since ICAB approval. The referrals have been few and far between so hopefully there is a big batch right around the corner. I am away this weekend on a girls weekend. This time we rented a cabin with a hot tub outside. We were all very excited about this until we heard that there is supposed to be heavy rain, wind and fog all weekend. It looks like we'll be stuck inside which means we'd better load up on snack food!

Snack foods are always good...have a great trip!!
I just don't understand the wait. Twenty three months is just crazy. There are so many kids needing families and so many great families awaiting their child/ren. It has to be soon.

I hope you're right about the big batch of proposals...sigh...wouldn't it be nice for a bunch of us to get our proposals at the same time?! Here's hoping you get your call soon!

23 months. At least your using your DINK (Double-income, no kids) days to have some awesome times! I, too, have decided on the month of July for when we get our referral. I decided since I missed the window for getting the little one during the summer (when I have a break from work and internship), that I'm no longer in a big hurry. The longer it takes, the more of my internship I'll have done before the little one arrives and the less conflicted I'll be. But I would LOVE to get the call before my 30th birthday on July 15 and I'd love it even better if you got the call exactly one week before!
