What a rush!

I was at work this afternoon when the secretary rushed into the office to say "can you take a call ?" There was this happy, excited look on her face and the first thing I thought was could this be THE CALL? Of course, I never expected to hear anything anytime soon, but you can always be hopeful. I ran to the telephone and ............ it was my dentist's office. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon! Well it was almost like an April Fools joke. I had to laugh! Like I said, I never expected to hear anything yet so I'm not disappointed but I can only imagine how excited I will be when the real time comes!!

DANG. Why would the secretary be smiling and excited about the dentist? That part is kind of funny. I can't wait to read your excited referral post :)

Ahaha! I guess a part of you is waiting for that call! ;) I had the same kind of desapointment 7 months ago.. my agency called, left a message on my answering machine. I was waiting for my acceptation from the ICAB. I was sooo excited! But it was a little thing!! Kind of desapointing when you wait for THE news! :D

Good luck.. your time will come! And then, you will be excited for real! :D

Thanks for making me smile Renee :)

Hope you get the real call with a referral very, very soon...you must be getting really close now, and your turn will come soon!! By the way, love the song selection on your blog!! Good choice :0)

Too funny! I am telling you, it only gets worse. Everytime my cell phone or home phone rings, my heart always skips a beat. Did you tell your secretary your thoughts? Sorry about your call...regardless enjoy a good teeth cleaning. :)

Your time will come when you least expect it. Our social worker called me at work the day after Labor Day and I thought it was for my correct email address...never dreamed it could be our referral for Jay-R! Prayers are with you...the day will be before you know it!
